I’m Trell — known online as Budget Bill — a husband, father, investor, real-estate owner and financial educator. My goal is simple: make money conversations practical enough to use in real life.
I know what it feels like to make money and still feel behind.
At one point, my family carried more than $500,000 in total debt across credit cards, student loans and real estate. About $65,000 of that was credit-card debt alone.
Instead of chasing the appearance of wealth, I started focusing on ownership, investing, systems and intentional decisions. That shift changed the trajectory of our finances and helped me become a millionaire at 39.
I still work. I still invest. I still make trade-offs. This site is about what actually works in the middle of real life — not pretending every money decision is easy.
